A Little Miracle!!!

I am sooooo excited!!!.................My sister had her baby!!! She had him yesterday, on St. Patricks Day! He's such a sweet little boy. They are naming him Stetson. I was able to be there with her before and after she had him. She had a c-section so the surgery was only like 30 minutes. Im just so amazed that a baby can come into the world so fast. And they are truly little miracles from God. They make everyone so much closer together because they bring so much love into our lives. He is so soft and cudley!!
I was trying to think of a good way to describe what a baby looks like and I came up with "Brand New Old Men". They are kinda wrinkly like a old person but in a new kind of way.
Holding Stetson just made me soooo excited for having my own little baby someday!! What a sweet precious little baby!!

Paint Makes Everything Better!

I have been painting my house for the past week. I first started on my entry way and now have moved to the kitchen. Its been quite the project. But Im bound and determined to get rid of ANY white walls. And not that I dont like white.......I just have a lot of white walls in my house!! So this first picture was the first little bit of paint. Of corse I had to be creative!!
This is definately not the finished product but kinda gives you and idea!

Who cooks dinner? Mostly me. I am lucky though-Kade does like to cook, and he can make a mean steak and halibut dinner!!

Just a Little Hike in the Woods!

So heres a story for ya. These pictures were taken back in the late fall AFTER the hunt. We decided that we would hike up on the mountain and take our video camera to catch some bugling elk footage. Or to capture some really good pictures......whatever we could get. So Kade and I , and our niece Cassidy get up early and go trapesing down through the trees at about, Oh 8:00 am or so. (The top picture) The hike was going well, we had heard some bugling going on and of corse it was coming from the bottom of the canyon. So thats were we went. We get down there and can't see any elk and all of a sudden, I swear, a cloud just covered the beautiful shining sun and started to snow!!! I was so amazed!!! Completely amazed that there could be a cloudcover and a white out all at once!!!! Those mountains really are surprising!! The second picture is at about noon. Thats how fast the snow fell. Well needless to say, we did not get our Oh so amazing elk footage, but we did get wet, cold, and tired. Ok and maybe some hot chocolate as soon as we got down the canyon :) It was all worth it!!!!!

Our Big Fat Group Date!!

I was going to add this picture in my last post but ended up just making a new one. This picture was at my house after our group date. We had all been to eat at Teppanyaki Grill..........oh yum!! It was soooo good. And the guy that cooked for us was really funny and entertaining. After dinner we went to Wise Guys-were Brett (the one in the orange and black) got hypnotized!! It was hillarious! The hypnotist made us all in the audience put our hands together to see who's would end up locking together and then he invited those people up on the stage for his show. Brett was pretty good entertainment!! He danced, ate lemons, drove a sports car, fell off his chair.....all sorts of fun stuff!!! It was loads of fun!!

Fun At The Cooks!

This is the girls making funny faces.........except for my mom and my sister, they just could'nt help but laugh. What some goofy girls!!!
And Oh wow.......what is that on the left????? Oh wait, I think that is my husband?? Still not sure. Anyways, as you can see there are two challenged persons in this photo and two normal persons. Here are 3 of my bros. My other brother Cameron was in the kitchen stuffing his face. We all have a gooooood ole time!!!!! And we can't resist my moms home cookin!!!
I thought this was so funny. Riley looks a little dazed and confused. But then again I guess Cortley does too!!! These two run around like crazy when they get together.

In our family, (my side) on the 1st and the 3rd Sunday, we all get together and have dinner. And we know it will either be pizza or turkey dinner. This has always been a tradition that we have done. I have a fairly LARGE family, so you can imagine what these dinners are like.......a little rowdy! Kids running everywhere-FUN!! We do love getting together!! So this video clip just kinda shows what it is like. Lots of interuptions.....hehe. This is Kade and my niece Cortley.
